I set up Capital A seven years ago and in that time have taken on over 160 projects. I have been lucky to meet many interesting clients and design exciting projects, while this brings its own reward it is always great to get the approval of my peers. Last night Capital A won its first award for a contemporary house extension in Corstorphine, Edinburgh.

The project beat four other entries in the Low Cost Project category at the Scottish Design Awards.

The ceremony was organised by The Drum and held at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow, it was a great night.
